The perfect bait!!

I got a new dog recently and I can totally recommend them! Not only are they great fun, company and delighted to see you all the time - but they are the perfect bait for attracting the opposite sex! I have never been stopped so many times by people who want to discuss my dog and her antics! My partner also has been stopped on numerous occasions by women wanting to talk about the dog.

There is a definite way to do it though, you need to saunter along taking your time and seemingly enjoying the day. Best to have the dog on a lead because people will stop to pet the dog. If you can put something noticable on the dog all the better - on Paddy's day we put a green garland on the dog and she attracted even more attention.

So if you are debating whether or not you want a dog in your life I hope this helps to influence you in the right direction!.

Let me know if you've had any similar experiences with pets.

Friends v's Dates - why do we have different criteria?

Why is it that when we make friends with someone of the same sex it is to do with the fact that we like them and generally we have something in common, but when we are searching for a date that could lead to a life long partnership we look at a whole different set of criteria?
I don't care what my friends look like, how big their bank balance is or where they were educated and, more than likely, we'll be friends for life. So why on earth do we make instant decisions on a potential partner based on these things? - it just doesn't make sense.
I think you should give everyone a chance. Don't make instant decisions on them - get to know them and then decide whether you like them or not but an informed decision is far better than a shallow one based on physical features and potential earnings. I'd love to hear your views on this and the best comment on the blog this week wins a months free membership to Maybefriends.com
