Dating in a recession
Well you can't avoid all the doom and gloom at the moment in the media and with the budget effects about to hurt our pockets we thought we'd try to come up with some money saving ways to date.
Here's a few ideas:
*When dating go for the healthy option. Walking is free and there is nothing like a nice long walk in the autumn chill followed by a warming hot chocolate for getting to know eachother.
*If you want to impress on your first date go shopping in vintage shops for an outfit or have a "swap shop" party with your friends where you can swap clothes and have an entire new wardrobe for free!
*If it's raining then opt for a coffee date, it's cheap and you can sit for hours while you get to know eachother.
*Online dating is much cheaper than a night out at just 20 Euro. It also saves on all those phone calls as you'll be typing not talking!
