Kissing in Public.
Hi, don't know if many of you saw the interview in the Sunday World with Jen and Tim on Sunday - they're the 80th couple to get married from the site. They looked fab and the very best of luck to them on their big day.
Congratulations to Tazzie for winning last weeks best comment on age gaps - a months free membership for her.
The poll last week was about snogging in public and it seems our members are well up for it with 73% of you agreeing that it is "always" OK to kiss in public. Well maybe you like doing it, but ....there is nothing worse than being beside people who are snogging while you're say, standing at a bus stop or something. I don't know where to look and I spend the time just wishing the bus would come along so I can get away from them!
This weeks poll is about where you sit in relation to your date. Do you like to sit side by side or opposite or do you care? I better check up on the psychology of the positions - I'm sure they mean different things about you but I know that I'd always prefer to sit opposite someone, dating or not, as I like to look at people I'm talking with and find it difficult to do this when I'm sitting side by side without looking ridiculous.
I look forward to reading your comments this week. Remember best comment of the week wins a months free membership on MaybeFriends.com - Great People. Great Friends. Great Dates.

Ah i remember Tim. Good on them! Muzzy who is an ex-member of the site was on Marry Me on RTE a few weeks ago buying a gorgeous rock and proposing to his sweetheart...sigh...brought out a few sniffles in even the most hard hearted of us (and not just cuz we wanted that rock ourselves!) ....dont know if he met her here but fair play to them! But anyone who's a bit downhearted about the whole dating thing....keep positive people! It does happen! You only need to meet one person who's right for you and just cuz it hasnt happened yet doesnt mean it wont....Congrats to all its worked out for and good luck to the rest of us! Dateless-In-Dublin
I know a couple who met through here and they're amazed at my experiences so far. Has the site really changed that much since 2005? I've been on some terrible dates from here and it's really getting me down.
Kissing in public - sweet if you could find somebody to kiss!
Er.....well i'm bein optimistic....didnt call myself Dateless for nuthin ya know!
Why thank you Jill! I dont normally win anything! lol
As for the kissing in public......dont get me started! Seriously, there is kissing, and then there's KISSING! Nowt worse than sitting on train home for an hour trying to look anywhere but at the couple "kissing"....or should I say groping/eating each other, in the seats opposite you! You'd think they'd have to come up for air at some stage............nobody minds a kiss but in fairness there are limits!
